REFUND POLICY

SUMMARY OF TERMS

Backbeam Studio provides high-performance AI infrastructure and telecom usage. While paid-for billing periods are generally non-refundable, we aim to ensure a fair experience. Users can unsubscribe at any time to prevent future charges.

1. Merchant of Record

Our platform utilizes a Merchant of Record (MoR) to handle all payment processing, tax compliance, and billing inquiries. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the terms provided by our payment partner at the point of sale.

2. Subscription Fees & Cancellations

Monthly and annual subscription fees (e.g., Starter, Agency, Enterprise tiers) are billed in advance.

  • Unsubscribe Anytime: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal. Access to the service will continue until the end of the current paid billing cycle.
  • No Automatic Refunds: Canceling a subscription does not automatically trigger a refund for the remaining time in the current cycle. The current month is paid for and remains active.

3. Usage & Connected Minutes

"Connected Minutes", overages, and telephone number rentals represent hard infrastructure costs incurred immediately upon usage.

  • Usage Charges: All usage-based charges for connected minutes and carrier fees are final.
  • Unused Credits: Minutes included in your plan do not roll over and are not eligible for cash refunds.

4. Refund Eligibility (Technical Issues)

We understand that technology can sometimes have faults. Refund requests or account credits may be considered in the following cases:

  • Verifiable Technical Faults: If a persistent technical issue on our infrastructure prevents you from using the service as intended, and our support team cannot resolve it within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Billing Discrepancies: Manifest errors in billing (e.g., duplicate charges) will be investigated and refunded to the original payment method upon verification.

5. Account Termination

If your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) or Terms of Service (e.g., unauthorized robocalling or grey traffic), you forfeit all rights to any refund for unused subscription time or pre-paid credits.

6. Disputes

Before filing a formal dispute or chargeback with your bank, please contact our support team. Most issues can be resolved through direct communication and account credits where applicable.
